- The Syracuse VA Medical Center located at 800 Irving Ave Syracuse, NY 13210, intends to release an invitation for bid (IFB) numbered VA528-14-B- 368 Project No. 528A7-13-745 - Renovate 6th Floor B wing (6B) on or about 14 Nov 14. This project will renovate the existing space for use as a new medical / surgical inpatient ward To include demolition of existing walls, electric, lighting, ceiling, floor tile, abate asbestos mastic and pipe insulation, and provide new mechanical equipment, ductwork, and plumbing for approximately 10,000 gsf of existing ward space. New ward will have 20 bed units with 16 private patient rooms and private baths and 2 double patient rooms and baths. The new ward will contain all required medical gas, nurse call, and necessary appurtenances for an inpatient Med/Surg care area as shown on plans and specifications. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 236220, with a Small Business Size Standard of $33.5 Million. Offers from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. The offeror must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and listed as a CERTIFIED VETERAN ENTERPRISE and be VERIFIED in the VetBiz database under the applicable NAICS. Firms may obtain VetBiz information at http://vip.vetbiz.gov. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is: Between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.00 Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. A 20% Bid Bond will be required and must be submitted with the bid. Unless additional notice is given or this notice is modified, the full IFB will be posted to the Government-wide Point of Entry (www.fbo.gov). This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation satisfying the requirements of FAR 5.201 and 5.203 This requirement is contingent on availability of funding
