- Solicitation Full Copy The General Sevices Administration is requesting proposals for the following scope SCOPE Summary- Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, labor and supervision to relocate DEA from 390 Main St, Suite 700 in San Francisco, California to their new offices at 6880 Koll Center Parkway in Pleasanton, California. The project requirements are 1) Evidence Relocation: including the provision of lockable boxes/bins with approximate dimension of 54" wide, 54" tall, and 48" long. DEA Lab Manager to approve recommended box/bin. 2) Relocation of IT Equipment and Office Inventory: see attachment 1 for inventory of general office items that have been identified for relocation. Some minor deviation may be made form list. a. Packing and Relocation of Personal and Lab Items: Contractor shall supply enough materials necessary to effectively pack all lab items and provide each of the 40 DEA employees up to 3 boxes for use in packing their own desks. Additionally Contractor shall assist DEA staff with packing lab materials and equipment. b. Servers, Computers and Phones: Contractor will not be responsible to disconnecting or reconnecting equipment but shall be responsible for packing and transporting servers, computers, and components identified for relocation. Phones will not be relocated and shall be excessed by the Contractor. c. Printers and Faxes: Contractor will not be responsible to disconnecting or reconnecting equipment but shall be responsible for packing, transporting and unpacking equipment identified for relocation. d. Furniture: Contractor shall excess all furniture e. Security Equipment: Contractor is not responsible and shall leave all existing security equipment in place. 3) Excess/ Disposal: Contractor shall be responsible for disposal of all items not relocated and not attached to the building. See attachment 1 for inventory of general office items that have been identified for disposal. 4) Hazardous and Non Hazardous Chemicals: Chemicals will be packed and relocated by a specialized and separately contracted vendor. Contractor will coordinate with this vendor to accomplish overall project goals to move the DEA Lab. 5) Decommissioning: Work shall be performed by a specialized and separately contracted vendor. Contractor will coordinate with this vendor to accomplish overall project goals to move the DEA Lab. 6) Laboratory Instrumentation Relocation: Work shall be performed by a specialized and separately contracted vendor. Contractor will coordinate with this vendor to accomplish overall project goals to move the DEA Lab. 7) Fuming Chamber and Relocation: Work shall be performed by a specialized and separately contracted vendor. Contractor will coordinate with this vendor to accomplish overall project goals to move the DEA Lab. SCHEDULE- work shall be performed during regular business hours starting December 15, 2014 with packing completed by January 13, 2015 and relocation completed by January 15, 2015. Boxes/Bins shall be returned to the contractor after February 17, 2015. NOTE TO BIDDERS- All potential offerors are required to attend the pre-bid walkthrough at 390 Main Street Suite 700 in San Francisco, California which is tentatively scheduled for November 7, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. PST. Attendance will be subject to individual attendee's ability to pass DEA security checks. Contact Jessica Gavello (jessica.gavello@gsa.gov) prior to November 5th, 2014 to initiate the process. Purpose of the walk through is to review project requirements and existing conditions. Failure to understand responsibility placed on vendors in the course of solicitation and contract performance will not annul said responsibilities or requirements. Contractor should fully review solicitation and attached documents prior to walk through.
