Description
Advantest Synopsis The Contracting Services Office at DLA Contracting Services Office - Columbus intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Advantest in Cupertino, CA. The NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5 million. The acquisition is for: •1. Hardware repairs for the Advantest 93000 Test Systems (s/n DE04601557&DE04601185) on an as needed basis shall include the following system components: •a. Hardware maintenance for the compact test heads (s/n DE04601557&DE04601185) and all internal components. •b. Hardware maintenance for the E2760FA system cooling units (s/n DE42485138&DE42465080). Cooling unit maintenance shall also include replacement of deionizing cartridge once every six months. •c. Contractor shall perform all repairs within three days after notification. •2. Calibration services for the Advantest 93000 Test Systems (s/n DE04601557&DE04601185): •a. Shall be to factory specifications. •b. Shall be NIST Traceable. •c. Shall be performed at a minimum of once every 6 months during the period of performance. •3. Software services for the Advantest 93000 Test Systems (s/n DE04601557&DE04601185): •a. Shall include all necessary software updates to maintain system operation and function. •b. Software updates shall be performed by the contractor The period of performance will begin approximately November 15, 2014 and will expire in one year. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement and which describes their capability to provide preventative maintenance, phone support and training on the instruments listed above. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all responses received by the due date published in this notice. Submissions are due by 1:00 PM EST, November 13, 2014 and must be contain "Advantest Products" on the package. Anticipated award date is November 14, 2014.
