Description

Maintenance Support Solicitation N00421-15-T-0028 is issued as intent to sole source. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Instru-Met Corporation, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 13.106-1(b). The requirement is for annual Preventive Maintenance Service, Repair, and Calibration of Instron Test Frames. Instru-Met owned proprietary data of equipment that requires maintenance support and calibration services. Procurement is a total set-aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6. This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability. Please see attached RFQ for STATEMENT OF WORK. Solicitation will close on 04 November 2014 at 0900 EST. The Government will not pay for any information received.
