Description
The purpose of this amendment under Request for Information (RFI), DLA Video Remote Interpreter services, is to delete question # 6 and question #7 in their entirety, and re-number the questions below. This amendment deletes the following questions: 6. Do you have staff interpreters that have a secret clearance? If so, how many? 7. If requested, would you be able to fill a request for multiple interpreters who have a secret clearance? The remaining parts of this RFI remain unchanged. The RFI, as amended, is as follows below. DLA Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Diversity is seeking feedback from interested vendors on the attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) for Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) services and obtaining answers to DLA EEO's questions below. DLA will use the information gathered through this RFI to clarify and improve the description of its requirements for VRI services. In accordance with FAR 15.201 (e), the information requested is for planning purposes only and is not intended to bind the Government. If DLA decides to proceed with a new procurement or announcement, we may synopsize our intent on FedBizOpps. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. It is the interested parties' responsibility to monitor the Government Points of Entry for the release of any solicitation and/or synopsis. Questions concerning this Request for Information should be submitted in writing and addressed to the Point of Contact (POC) below. Any E-mail correspondence should have the subject line: DLA Video Remote Interpreter services. Responses are due to the POC no later than Thursday November 6, 2014. DLA EEO's questions are as follows: 1. Are you able to provide interpreters on a 24/7/365 basis? 2. What are the certification levels of your interpreters? 3. How many full-time interpreters will be required to perform the PWS based in CONUS? OCONUS? 4. How many interpreters do you have access to that are part-time or not currently on your staff? 5. What other Federal Agencies are your clients? 6. Do you have staff interpreters that have a secret clearance? If so, how many? 7. If requested, would you be able to fill a request for multiple interpreters who have a secret clearance? 8. Do you have a Continuity of Operation Plan (COOP) in place to address any malfunction of your technical systems that results in VRI service interruption? 9. Do you have a secured encryption structure that effectively supports your VRI service? 10. Are you able to provide applications for installations compatible with Windows 7, Macintosh OS X (10.9.3), or better computer processing system? 11. Are you able to provide applications developed and designed for the Windows Phone, Apple IOS, and/or Android Operating Systems for tablets? 12. What is your per minute rate for Scheduled Rate for Regular Work Hours - Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. per a twelve month period? 13. What are the pricing models/structures for this type of service? Please describe them in detail. 14. What will be the pricing models/structures you would use for the PWS? Please describe them in detail 15. Based on the DRAFT SOW, what is the recommended Contract Line Item (CLIN) structure that would provide the best value to the Government. 16. What is the estimated five-year contract cost, On-demand/unscheduled versus scheduled?
