Description
The Government intends to issue the formal Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about November 3, 2014 and hold a Pre-proposal conference at 9:30 a.m. on November 17, 2014 starting at the port facility in Jackman, Maine. A walk through of the facilities will be provided after the initial meeting. After the walk through in Jackman, attendees will travel to Coburn Gore, ME for a walk through of those facilities. The Coburn Gore location is approximately a 70 mile and a 3 hour drive via the United States; and it is approximately 86 miles and a 2 hour drive via Canada. It is expected to take 3 hours to travel via the United States. If you have proper passport and can pass customs, you can travel through Canada in about two hours. However, it is the Government's intention to conduct the walk through in Coburn Gore at 3:00 p.m. Please contact me, Robert Budlong at robert.budlong@gsa.gov if you plan on attending. Please provide a complete name and name of company for each individual who will be attending. I can also be reached on my work phone at (617) 565-6686. Please make sure that you bring proper identification. Personnel must bring a valid passport or birth certificate in accordance with the Real ID Act of 2005. A State of Maine issued driver's license or identification card is not considered a valid form of ID.
