Description
The Maryland Air National Guard is conducting market research for a requirement for Catering on the unit training Assembly (UTA) weekends of 2 days in Jan 2015, 2 days MAR15, 2 days JUN15, 2 Days SEP15 on-site at the Maryland Air National Guard base located in Baltimore MD. This announcement is not a request for proposals. Our evaluation of the responses to this market research will enable us to determine the most appropriate procurement strategy. The Government will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this announcement. Contractor will furnish all food items, cook, deliver, and serve prepared meals to the 175th Force Support Squadron (175 FSS) located at the Dining Facility (DFAC) on MDANG. Number of meals will not exceed 600 per meal per day. 175 FSS will contact the Contractor with the exact number of meals for each day, two weeks prior to the required date. All food items must be delivered and available on site and placed in the warmer, cooler, or serving line no later than 45 minutes prior to serving times unless otherwise directed. Contractor will be required to serve meals for a duration of two and a half hours (2 ½ hrs) unless released by 175 FSS. Meals shall be delivered on site at the proper temperature and will be transported to the facility in delivery van or similar vehicle. The hours of operation for UTA weekends are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the core serving hours 1030 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interested contractors should respond with the following information: (1) A statement of the contractors current capability to provide the required cafeteria food services (must provide sample menus); (2) the contractor's small business size and socio economic factor status, such as HUB Zone, 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-owned; (3) the contractor's DUNS number and CAGE code (Note: Contractors having one or more of the following NAICS codes are considered eligible.) Applicable NAICS codes are 722310, cafeteria food service contractors with size standard of $20.5 million; 722212, Cafeterias, Grill Buffets, and Buffets; and 722210, Delicatessen/Fast Food/Carry-Out Restaurant both of the later with a size standard of $7 million; (5) Point of Contact information: individual's names, address, email address, and telephone number.
