Description
NOTE: This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Bragg, North Carolina, has a requirement to provide support to the U.S. Army Reserve Command's (USARC's) Child, Youth & School Services (CYSS) program. USARC's mission is to provide trained and ready units and individuals to mobilize and deploy in support of the national military strategy. USARC is responsible for all of the operational tasks involved in training, equipping, managing, supporting, mobilizing and retaining Soldiers under its command. The Contractor is required to provide CYSS to the geographically dispersed Active Guard Reserve, Troop Program Unit, Deployed, Wounded Warriors, Survivor Outreach Services soldier's families as they strive to balance their work and family responsibilities. CYSS provides programs and services that meet the needs of Army Reserve families, enhance their Quality of Life, and contribute to the total well-being and healthy development of Army Reserve children and youth. USARC provides support to about 200,000 soldiers and approximately 145,000 children under the age of 18. The anticipated period of performance includes a one (1) year base period of 26 March 2015 through 25 March 2016 (includes a two (2) month phase-in period), with two (2) 1-year option periods. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price type contract for this requirement. This acquisition is being set-aside 100% for Small Business concerns. The assigned National American Industry Classification System code is 624110 quote mark Child and Youth Services quote mark with a small business size standard of $11.0 million. MICC - Fort Bragg anticipates issuing the Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 6 November 2014. The closing date for submission of proposals will be contained in the RFP. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Maintenance database prior to award of a government contract, http://www.sam.gov/. The RFP will be available at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. It is the Governments intent to issue a DRAFT RFP on or around 4 November 2014. Interested potential offerors are responsible for routinely checking this web site for any possible updates on the anticipated DRAFT RFP and RFP.
