Description
Capabilities Questionnaire for Disaster Recovery Services The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) charters, regulates, and supervises all United States national banks and federal savings associations (thrifts). OCC also supervises the federal branches and agencies of foreign banks. Headquartered in Washington, DC, the OCC has four district offices plus an office in London to supervise the international activities of national banks. Bank supervision is the core activity of the agency. It is OCC's intent to use the information gathered in response to this Sources Sought Notice to assist in determining whether to set-aside for small businesses to provide fully managed Disaster Recovery Services for the agency's mission critical IT systems currently provided out of the OCC Data Center in Ashburn, Virginia. The OCC is interested in identifying vendors who are capable of offering Managed Disaster Recovery Service (MDRS) resources operated by the respondent in a recovery center physically located within 200 miles of the OCC's western district office located at 1225 17th Street, Denver, CO 80202. THE GOVERNMENT IS NOT SEEKING RESPONSES FROM OTHER THAN SMALL BUSINESSES. Furthermore, the responses obtained will enable the OCC to refine the strategy for the development of this requirement in order to structure a program that will mitigate cost, schedule, and performance risks. The projected NAICS for this procurement is 541513. To assist the OCC in identifying potential sources that possess the specific expertise, capabilities and experience a Capabilities Questionnaire has been developed. Please carefully read the attached document (Capabilities Questionnaire - DRS). Respondents to this notice shall provide a written capabilities statement, which includes and addresses the questions outlined in the questionnaire and any relevant information that specifically addresses the company's capabilities. Capabilities Statements shall be no longer than 20 pages double-spaced, 12 point font. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or in part, any industry input, as a result of this Notice. Failure to provide sufficient documentation may result in the Government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities. When submitting responses, vendors shall clearly identify any information it considers sensitive or proprietary. All information received in response to this Notice that is marked ‘proprietary' will be handled accordingly. Responses to this Notice will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated and incurred by submitting a response. Eligibility to participate in a future acquisition is not predicated on a response to this Notice. SUBMISSION INFORMATION All responses shall be submitted to Azita Mamdouhi, via email at Azita.Mamdouhi@occ.treas.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. EST, on November 10, 2014. DISCLAIMER AND IMPORTANT NOTES: This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in this response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's qualifications to perform the work. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. After a review of the responses received, a pre-solicitation synopsis and solicitation may be published in Federal Business Opportunities. However, responses to this notice will not be considered adequate responses to a solicitation.
