- This is a sources sought announcement only. This is not a request for proposal. The 502d Contracting Squadron (502 CONS), JBSA-Lackland, TX, is seeking to locate companies capable of and interested in providing a firm fixed-price lease and maintenance service agreement for four (4) Evis Exera II CF-H180AL GI Video Colonoscopes and two (2) Evis Exera II PCF-H180AL GI Video Colonoscopes for use in the Gastroenterology Clinic at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC), San Antonio, Texas. The applicable NAICS code is 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing). The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The contract period is expected to be a base, one-year period. The period of performance will be approximately 15 November 2014 through 14 November 2015. Scope of Work. The contractor shall provide equipment lease, maintenance with support service. Contractor tasks include, but are not limited to; full repair coverage with no cap; accidental damage coverage at no additional charge; prioritized repairs with 24-48 hour turnaround; all parts and labor necessary to complete repairs to the manufacturer's then-current specifications; next day shipping, to and from, at no additional charge; loaner units, if and when requested; on-site training and support; certification by appropriate Federal and state regulatory agencies to meet Federal and local certification requirements in maintenance of equipment; and in the event of contingency; unrestricted access to technical support 24-hours a day, seven (7) days a week; weekday administrative support; telephone response to requests for repairs of electronic equipment within four (4) hours. The contractor shall submit reports and documentation, as required. Requested Information. All proprietary information not to be disseminated in Government documents must be clearly identified. Since this is a sources sought announcement only, no evaluation letters and/or results will be issued to the participants.
