Description
Minimum Essential Characteristics (MECs): For behavioral recording and data acquisition system Must Meet all Specification - Brand Name or Equal The software must support a data acquisition system which will be used for video-tracking/recording of behavioral testing in traumatic brain injury (TBI) models. The system must be compatible with the existing Ethovision 9.0 behavioral recording and tracking system present in our lab to ensure the consistency of our data generated from the old and new system. The software must be able to operate a system containing a live video tracking, motion analysis, and behavior recognition system. The license key must support a system which contains a base module that will track and analyze behavior using several object detection methods including but not limited to grey scaling, differencing, and dynamic subtraction. The software should be able to detect animal behavior changes in user-identified arena over multiple frames. The package should contain module for tracking animals in multiple arenas that allows the user to design specific templates and contain a manual event recorder. The software should be capable of batch acquisition and batch analysis in order to increase data collection/analysis efficiency. The software should support a modular design in order to incorporate additional competencies as needed by user. The system must contain a software module that can detect multiple body points including the animal nose, tail, and center body point, detect freezing behavior, and body elongation and be capable of batch processing of video files. The entire package must contain at least two (2) base modules for additional data processing stations.
