Description

THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES. The VA Medical Center, Lake City, Florida is soliciting proposals from qualified and verified SDVOSB's for project 573A4-12-101, to 'RENOVATE REHAB MEDICINE'. Work includes all labor, tools, materials, equipment, general construction, alterations, and supervision necessary to renovate approximately 4,900 square foot area located in the current rehabilitation medicine suite at the VA Medical Center, 619 S. Marion Avenue, Lake City, Florida. The contractor shall prepare site for building operations, including general construction, alterations, asbestos abatement, demolition, mechanical and electrical work, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items as required by drawings and the specifications. The NAICS code is 236220/size standard is $36.5 million. Magnitude of Construction Cost range is $500,000-$1,000,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. PROPOSALS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES THAT ARE VERIFIED IN VETBIZ AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL AND DATE OF AWARD in accordance with Public Law 109-461. The solicitation will issue and be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website on or about 11/5/14. All solicitation packages and amendments must be accessed on line. No Telephone request will be accepted. Complete electronic solicitation with forms and specifications for submitting a response and to register your name on the bidder's mailing list may be obtained at the following website: www.fbo.gov All amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this website and will not be mailed. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. A ONE-TIME organized pre-proposal site visit will be held and the date and time will be announced in the solicitation when it is posted to FBO on or about 11/5/14. No prior information is available until the date of issue. SOLICITATION VA-248-15-R-0064 WILL BE POSTED TO THE ABOVE ADDRESS ON OR ABOUT 11/5/15. All respondents are required to be registered and verified at www.vip.vetbiz.gov and must be registered at www.SAM.gov with complete online Reps and Certs. Vets 100 Registration is also required.
