Description
Sole Source Justification THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE – THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD CONTRACT TO SATORI SOFTWARE TO PROVIDE SATORI ARCHITECT API. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) intends to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority permitting soliciting from a single in accordance with FAR 13.106-1 (b) on the basis that the Federal Trade Commission know of no other entity that can provide the required software. The FTC intends to issue a contract to Satori Software, 1301 5th Ave, Suite 2200, Seattle, WA 98101-2676 in an effort entitled Satori Software Architect. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this requirement via email in Microsoft Word format with a file size less than 5MB to Derek Hager, via email: dhager@ftc.gov, Subject Line: Satori Software no later than 5:00 pm Eastern, 20 October, 2014. All information submitted should support the offeror’s capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror’s bona fide capability to provide these services. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source Award. Specifically, the FTC health care data requirements are as follows: The OCIO and BCP’s Division of Consumer and Business Education require the purchase of Satori Software’s Architect API for integration with the agency’s Bulk Order website. Bulk Order is used by the public to order free FTC publications and literature. Satori Architect validates mailing addresses using up-to-date information provided by the U.S. Postal Service. The use of the Satori API will allow the Bulk Order system to contain clean data without intervention from staff. Additionally, the GSA distribution center that fulfills orders from FTC uses the Satori software platform and the FTC’s purchase will allow the two systems to be integrated. The market research team did research to determine if the product is available on a GSA schedule or through other government contracting vehicles and/or resellers. The team could not find any evidence that the product is offered on GSA schedule or through direct resellers.
