Description
Technical Description for sources sought: The Marine Corps Systems Command has a requirement for an adapter cable to close a technical gap in its current power distribution system. There is the potential to procure approximately 250 cables meeting the following specifications: The cable must contain a 30 Amp 3 Phase, IEC60309 Pin and Sleeve, Male plug having the same or equivalent specifications as the Hubbell connector; Part Number HBL530P9W. The cable must terminate in a 20 Amp 3 Phase, IEC60309 Pin and Sleeve, female connector having the same or equivalent specifications as the Hubbell connector: Part Number HBL520C9W. The cable must be constructed of SEOOW type wire and sheathing or its equivalent. The cable must contain over current protection rated at 20 Amps 3 phase, contained in an integral waterproof housing that provides over current protection for the 20 amp cable connection. Where the cable enters either an IEC 60309 connector or any over current protection housing, sufficient strain relief shall be provided to allow the cable to bend for normal use without damage to the cable sheathing, conductors or internal connections. The overall length of the assembled cable, connectors and over current protection is desired to be no less than 48 inches and no more than 60 inches. Commercial firms possessing the characteristics noted above, are encouraged and invited to submit product brochures and pricing materials (Rough Order of Magnitude- ROM) outlining specifications, to include a statement of capabilities. Please notate if the product is offered on GSA Schedule. Responses will be reviewed to identify firms potentially capable of fulfilling the Governments requirement.
