- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The U.S. Department of Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), Office of Acquisitions Division, is conducting market research for the Office of Process Management Division. This RFI does not commit the Government to a contract for any supply or service. All costs associated with responding to this RFI are solely at the responding parties' expense. Respondents are solely responsible for properly marking and clearly identifying any proprietary information or trade secrets contained within their response. The Government will not be liable for nor suffer any consequential damages resulting from any proprietary information not properly marked and clearly identified. Proprietary information received in response to this RFI will be safeguarded and handled in accordance with applicable Government regulations. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract or agreement. The BEP will not be obligated to pursue any particular acquisition alternative as a result of this RFI. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if one is issued. Capabilities Needed: The U.S.Department of the Treasury, Bureau and Printing (BEP), is interested in obtaining, testing, and evaluating for purchase a high speed video camera for analysis of current and potential development issues. The BEP's desirable requirements include the following: • Main unit including Camera, controls, Lenses, Computer Software adapters, stage and stand • Self-contained Hand held with built in monitor / Mobile light weight • Battery powered / rechargeable battery 4hours or more battery life • Long record time • SSD / USB port / SD port • Communication ports • External I/O ports • HDMI Video out • Control software • 1280-1024 resolution • Long record mode • Camera stand • Battery powered LED light source Place of Performance: Bureau of Engraving and Printing Office of Process Management Attn: Cynthia Spruill 14th and C Streets, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-0001. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s). If so, respondents are solely responsible for properly marking and identifying such information within their response.
