- Notice of Intent under Solicitation W91YU0-15-T-0019 to award a firm fixed price contract for Sole Source of Floseal and Vasugua surgical Implants Products Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office (WRCO), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Baxter Healthcare Corp in the estimated amount of $150,000.00, to cover the period through 30 September 2015 on an as needed basis, for Floseal and Vasugua Surgical Implants products for use at Madigan Army (MAMC) Medical Center, Tacoma, WA 98433. The Surgeon at the time of surgery then will make the determination that this product or other brands will best meet the patient's needs. ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE FDA APPROVED. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, email; walter.j.bischoff.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
