Description

DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA VETERANS HEALTH CARE SYSTEM P.O.BOX 61011 New Orleans LA 70161-1011 Date: October 15, 2015 Notice: Source Sought Synopsis: Concerns having the ability to furnish the services described here-in, are requested to give written notification (including the name and telephone number for a point of contact) to the Contract Specialist listed in the announcement, within 7 calendar days from the date of this synopsis. The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS), has a requirement for a service contract for the following equipment Sterrad NX, and Evotech System both systems were designed by Advance Sterilization Products Services, Inc, a Johnson and Johnson Company. The SLVHCS anticipates that the contract shall have a base period estimated November 5, 2014 to September 31, 2015 with two twelve-month option periods, starting October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016, and October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. The vendor shall perform all preventative maintenance, and repair services that will result in the equipment meeting, or exceeding Sterile Processing Services specifications. Corrective Maintenance (CM) must be unlimited for non user error calls. All parts, labor and travel are included in each corrective maintenance call. Based on the information at this time, the government considers the services specified as a sole source from Advance Sterilization Products Services, Inc, and proposes to negotiate a contract with the firm on that basis. However, should additional sources be identified, they will be considered. Contractors who feel that they can furnish the required services (based on the criteria specified herein) are invited to submit, in writing, an affirmative response to this announcement. The response should demonstrate the offerors ability to provide the needed services required. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. Affirmative response shall be received by this office by close of business October 22, 2015 by 4:30 P.M. Central Standard Time.
