Description

Contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit with Ovid Technologies on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to provide Online Database for Medicals Books and Journals. This will be a non-personal services Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The requirement will be a 5 year contract with a base period of 8 November 2014 - 7 November 2015. The period of performance must start on 8 November 2014. This contract is needed to provide e-journals and research to medical providers for patient care. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action, based on responses received, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice. Information received will be considered solely within the discretion of the government. This request is for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.1. and 13.5.
