Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE DESCRIPTION This is a pre-solicitation notice only! No award shall be made off this Notice. This Notice is being posted as this is an urgent requirement and the solicitation posting period shall be short. The solicitation will be a Small Business or SDVOSB set-aside (if sufficient SDVOSB contract holders are located). All SDVOSB offerors will need to ensure that they have a current VetBiz certification prior to award. Only Small Business concerns will be considered for this solicitation. The VA has a requirement to provide Gastro / Colonoscopy Services to the Lexington VA Medical Center (VAMC). Services are to be provided on-site at the Lexington VAMC in Lexington, KY. The Lexington VAMC needs up to 2 FTEE to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm while they recruit permanent staff. It is possible that on-call services can be added to the requirement. The period of performance is shall be for a period of one year with option periods included. Services may be reduced upon giving at least a 90-day notice if permanent staff are located and hired. All providers shall be licensed physicians who are experienced Gastroenterologists, and shall be required to provide all services outlined in the Statement of Work. A sample Statement of Work is attached, however this is a sample. The full Statement of Work shall be contained in the solicitation once it is posted.
