Description
This solicitation has been re-advertised for an additional 15 days. This procurement is for a, Real-time Cell Behaviour Monitoring System for automated wound healing, direct measurement of barrier functions and cell migration assays. It is a total small-business set-aside. NAICS 334516/500 The minimum essential characteristics (MECs) are: 1.Sensing station must be able to be placed in a standard tissue culture incubator and specifically designed to withstand the high temperatures and humidity of a standard tissue culture incubator. 2.Be able to measure transepithelial resistance in any adherent cell type in monolayer or sparse culture. 3.Be compatible for standard filter inserts that are used in our in vitro inhalation studies. 4.Automated, non-invasive real time monitoring of cell behavior without the use of labels. 5.Automatic monitoring for 16 and/or 96 tissue culture wells. 6.Outputs information regarding impedance of 250 micrometer electrodes or substrates for cell growths. 7.Monitors voltage and phase of AC signal across electrodes at 25 points per second and AC frequencies ranging from 50 Hz to 100,000 Hz 8.Software that analyzes data as resistance and capacitance. 9.Performs continuous time course acquisition of data. 10.Modeling programs calculate cell parameters (barrier function, capacitance, spacing between basal membrane and electrode) from raw and phase data. 11.Have a high field module allows for automatic wound healing assays.
