Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Groton contracting branch requests responses from qualified sources capable of provide maintenance for a Harbor Security Boat and associated trailer and equipment to include preventative maintenance (PM) and repair of non-functioning related equipment. Preventative maintenance and repairs required under this contract shall be performed off-site unless the repair is consider minor and can be performed on-site without interference in base operations and in accordance with the Performance Based Work Statement. These services are in support of the Naval Weapons Station Earle, Colds Neck, NJ. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, FAR Subpart 19.5 Set-Asides for Small Business and supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFP number is N00189-15-T-G001. The NAICS code is 336611 “Shipbuilding and repairs, and the small business standard is 1000 employees. This is a 100% small business set aside competitive action. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the contract specialist via e-mail ONLY. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the vendor responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov/far and www.acq.osd.mil. Lack of registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) will render the vendor ineligible for award. The government anticipates release of the RFQ during the week of 27 October 2014 - 31 Oct 2014.
