Description

This posting constitutes the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) notice of intent to limits sources to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) qualified, certified, and authorized Merge Healthcare service providers that can provide Technical Support and Maintenance Service for Merge Vericis Cardiology System. The purpose of this requirement is to provide Technical Support and Maintenance Service for Merge Vericis Cardiology System, operating system support to include telephone and online support, and hardware and applications software support coverage and software upgrades to ensure that the Department of Veterans Affairs owned Merge Vericis Cardiology System is covered for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. This procurement involves licensed, proprietary software, software upgrades and proprietary passwords. Any interested parties must be an 'Authorized OEM Service Provider' and must identify their interest and capabilities to respond to this requirement, and must furnish, the Department of Veterans Affairs written current documentation from the OEM supporting authorization, an inventory of test equipment, parts, training certificates, licenses and technical documentation available for inspection by VA Medical Center personnel and be able to show written evidence to technical qualifications of personnel, test equipment (and calibration documentation) licenses and availability of parts. Parts availability must be written documentation from either the equipment manufacturer or authorized parts supplier. The anticipated contract award will be a Firm Fixed Price One Year Base plus four-one year extension options. The applicable NAICS Code is 811211. This notice of intent is not a request for quotation or solicitation of offers. Reponses must be reviewed within five (5) calendar days of this notice via email to surella.tracy@va.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received by the response date the Department of Veterans Affairs shall proceed with the intended agreement. All questions concerning this requirement must be in writing and submitted via email to surella.tracy@va.gov. NOTE:There will be no solicitation issued for this requirement.
