- This synopsis is for establishment of a śrepair ť Requirements contract for F404 Turbine Support Assys NSN: 2840-01-138-8085P/N 6025T29G04 upgrades to NSN: 2840-01-393-1180P/N 6025T29G05 The solicitation will be issued with five (5) base years no option periods/The total quantity of 530ea is the estimated quantity to be repaired over 5 years. (Year 1: 80ea; Year 2: 125ea; Year 3: 125ea; Year 4: 100ea; Year 5: 100ea). The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit competitively on an unrestricted basis. All repaired components and consumable parts submitted under the contract shall be in compliance with: REPAIR MANUAL/PROCEDURES: A1-F404A-MMD-300- 1 June 2003 “ Change 5 - 1 April 2013 A1-F404A-MMI-201 (VOLUME 2) - 31 July 2002 “ Change 9 “ 15 October 2013 NAVAIR 02-1-20 - 1 September 2005 - Change 3 - 15 August 2013 The subject item(s) requires government source approval of critical safety items prior to contract award. Only those sources approved by the NAVSUP WSS prior to award will be eligible for awardIf you are interested in becoming an approved source of supply, you should follow the guidelines in the brochure. https:www.navsup.navy.mil/navsup/ourteam/navsupwss/business_opps/ Award will not be delayed pending source approval. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Governments requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
