- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT notice for information and planning purposes and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify qualified businesses, including Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Businesses, 8(a) Small Business and Small Business concerns that are interested in and capable of performing the work described herein. The NAICS code is 624190 and the corresponding size standard is $11 Million. Your response to this sources sought will assist the Government determine the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran's Integrated Services Network 21, Network Contract Office will be issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a contractor to provide services of a Readjustment Counseling for Veterans residing in the Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties. SERVICES REQUIRED a.Readjustment counseling, for the purpose of this announcement is counseling provided by licensed psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric clinical nurse specialists or other master's level licensed professional counselors from related disciplines who will provide individual, group or couples counseling specifically directed at social, psychological or behavioral problems which bear a distinct relationship to the process of readjustment from military duty to civilian life. b.A service delivery mechanism, emphasizing an understanding of the readjustment problems of Veterans who served during World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Vietnam Era (Non-Theater), Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, Persian Gulf, Somalia, Kosovo/Bosnia, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation New Dawn is required. Counseling services shall be specifically tailored to the readjustment needs of eligible Veterans in a non-institutional, client oriented setting, located outside existing VA facilities.
