Description

Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 3 of the Department of Veterans Affairs is currently conducting a market survey for contractors with the following criteria: Contractor shall be licensed by the NJDEP and will supply all equipment, labor, and materials for the collection, removal, and disposal of cardboard and comingled paper from the VANJHCS East Orange and Lyons campus: "Two (2) 30 cubic yard self-contained compactor containers, one (1) 35 cubic yard self-contained compactor container and one (1) 8 yard container to be placed at designated locations at the Lyons Campus of the VA New Jersey Health Care System located at 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, NJ; and "One (1) 30 cubic yard self-contained compactor container to be placed at a designated location at the East Orange Campus of the VA New Jersey Health Care System located at 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ. All containers will be conspicuously marked to indicate their exclusive use for the recycling of corrugated cardboard / comingled paper only. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 562111. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email or fax) and must be received not later than September 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Email: patriciae.brown@va.gov and Fax: (908) 604-5343. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and socio-economic business status. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time will not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 562111. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available.
