Description

The Departmental Offices (DO) is currently seeking the renewal of PMDF OpenVMS Internet Messaging Gateway Renewal Licenses, Maintenance & Support. This procurement action will continue the current maintenance agreements and licenses owned by the Treasury/DO/OCIO. PMDF OpenVMS is a multi-user operating system that runs in both production and development environments that supports Integrity servers. Treasuries DO OCIO employees currently use this software in its environment. To replace the existing infrastructure would be costly to the government. The Process Software is currently being utilized by DO employees; therefore HQ IT Operations wishes to reinstate Process Software licenses and maintenance support that had not been picked up from BAE Systems. Training and knowledge acquisition are not necessary to comply with support and maintenance.
