- The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) is requesting information from interested parties on the Steinaker Canal Enclosure Reach 1. Reclamation is interested in obtaining vendor feedback on the specifications, drawings, and pricing breakdown schedule in preparation for Reclamation soliciting a Request for Proposal. Please note the anticipated period of performance for Reach 1 is August 2015 through May 2016. The pipeline must be operational by May 2016. All other work shall be completed by early summer 2016. Reseeding shall take place fall 2016. A site visit is available and will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 10:00am. Vendors will meet at: Uintah Water Conservancy District Office 78 West 3325 North Vernal, UT 84078 Vendors are not required to attend the site visit; however, any vendors who are interested in the project are encouraged to attend the site visit. An additional site visit will be held when the request for proposal is released; however, that site visit is anticipated to be held in the winter and weather conditions may make it difficult to thoroughly inspect the site. A vendor day to discuss the project will also be held on Thursday October 23, 2014 at 10:00. The meeting will be held at: Bureau of Reclamation Provo Area Office Conference Room1 302 East 1860 South Provo, UT 84606-7317 All vendors who are interested in the project are encouraged to attend. Vendors who are interested in the project may provide company information, contact information, and information demonstrating their capabilities and experience in installing pipelines. Vendors may also provide feedback on the specifications, drawings, and pricing breakdown schedule. The pricing breakdown schedule has been included to solicit any feedback on the setup of the line items. Vendors are not required to complete the schedule but may submit overall, non-detailed, budget estimates which will be used by Reclamation as market research to more accurately determine the scope of the work. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Responses to this request for information will not be returned and electronic submission is preferred. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government or form a binding contract.
