See posted J&A for further information. W911QY-14-D-0023 Award Synopsis On 23 September 2014, Natick Contracting Division-Orlando, U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), single award, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a 24 month ordering period, including an 18-month base period, and one 6-month option period, with a total contract value of $12,500,000.00 to BAE Systems. The contract is to execute ongoing Automated Installation Entry (AIE) - 2 requirements for AIE Delivery Orders in support of the Joint Product Manager, Force Protection Systems (JPdM-FPS) office during the AIE-3 solicitation preparation, Request for Proposal (RFP) and Source Selection. The objective of this acquisition is to provide Automated Installation Entry (AIE) hardware and software for military installations. AIE provides timely, effective and efficient threat detection necessary for installation commanders to assess and react in all threat environments. AIE automates access control processes for authorized and registered personnel entering an installation. AIE improves access/denial accuracy and enables near real-time changes of authentication requirements in response to changes in force protection conditions. The AIE acquisition will enhance installation security and improve both pedestrian and vehicle throughput at Access Control Points (ACP). The contract awardee is: BAE Systems Redland Corporate Center, Building 3, 520 Gaither Road Rockville, MD 20850
