- This is a sources sought for market research purposes only. This is not a solicitation for quotations and no contract will be awarded from this notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this sources sought or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential sources who can provide the exact item identified below. Please do not request a copy of a solicitation, as one does not exist. Characteristics for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Ammunition: 9mm, 115gr Full Metal Jacket, Match cartridge intended for use by the U.S. Air Force National Pistol Team. A self-contained "match grade" 9mm pistol cartridge that utilizes a percussion primer which when struck ignites an internal charge of propellant which propels a 115 gr full metal jacket projectile out the muzzle of the weapon. In order to ensure reliable operation with the tight tolerances of match grade Service Pistols, the overall length of the cartridge must be 1.1285" +/- 0.001", and the diameter at the crimp must be.376" +/- 0.001". The accuracy of the cartridge must be </= 1.5" at 50 yds when fired from a Civilian Marksmanship Program approved 9mm Service Pistol on a test fixture. All responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information: a. Company's full name, address, telephone, and point of contact with email address. b. Company's Cage Code and DUNs. c. Company's Capability Statement proving you can supply Match Grade. No variations are permitted. d. A statement indicating the offeror's ability to prepare and submit detailed invoices via Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). e. Company Socio-Economic Program Participation: small, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, Woman-owned, Service disabled veteran-owned. f.
