- Notice of award for non-competitive requirement The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA issued a sole-source procurement action to the Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District to provide the operation of the South Vandenberg Power Plant Ambient Air Monitoring Station for a base year plus three option years. The estimated cost including all options is $440,241.00. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 339999. This contract is for a requirement for which the Government solicited and negotiated with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.501. This is a notice of award of a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent requirement as described above and in attached Justification of Other than Full and Open Competition. Interested parties must provide a rationale as to why they should be considered. Respond to the below point of contact referencing RFP number F4D3D34062AG01 by 8 a.m. (PDT) on 17 October 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The 30th Contracting Squadron will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information. Rule requires a firm to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.SAM.gov), and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) (https://wawf.eb.mil/ ) prior to award of any contract or agreements. Firms must register on a one-time basis, and annually confirm accuracy and completeness of registration information.
