Description

Exception to Fair Opportunity Justification This sole source Task Order provides continued support for the Air Force Human Resource Management Modernization (AFHRMM). AFHRMM provides critical military personnel and pay capabilities support for the Department of the Air Force. This Task Order provides IT technical services and professional support for the design of the AFIPPS system. The current Task Order, which was awarded under the Millennia contract vehicle, expires on October 27, 2014, which is the last date that the Millennia contract vehicle can be used. The Government awarded this sole source bridge, which consists of one (1) 12-month Base Period with two (2), three-month Option Periods. This Task Order was awarded on a sole-source basis to Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) pursuant to FAR Part 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B), only one source is capable of providing the services at the quality required because the supplies or services required are unique or highly specialized. The Exception to Fair Opportunity justifying this award was approved on September 9, 2014 and is attached to this notification.
