- Description
- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency (FAR 6.302-5); specifically, Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J&A is not required for this award. The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing twelve (12) riser pipe grade control structures in Montgomery and Webster Counties, Mississippi. Principle features of work include clearing and grubbing; excavation, backfill, pipe fill, embankment, and control of water; engineering fabric; stone protection; corrugated metal pipe; topsoil, fertilizing, seeding and mulching; lime treatment; welding; concrete work; storm water pollution prevention; and environmental protection.
