- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR UNGUIDED MISSILE, TACTICAL ROMEO BUS, SIMULANT LONGBOW GUIDANCE SECTION IN SUPPORT OF THE JOINT AIR-TO-GROUND MISSILE (JAGM) This is a sources sought notice only for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. This announcement closes 16 October 2014 at 1700 Central Standard Time (CST). The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Redstone (ACC-R) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the procurement of Part Number (P/N) 13703970 (Unguided Missile, Tactical Romeo Bus, Simulant Longbow Guidance Section), or P/N 13703960 (Missile Bus, Tactical, Romeo). A total of 736 to 786 units are estimated to be procured. It is anticipated that the units will be delivered in phases to support the Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) timelines: 288 units in FY18, 348 - 423 units in FY19, and 50-75 units in FY 20. Part No. 13703970 is comprised of P/N 13703960 and P/N 13703965 (Guidance Section, Longbow, Mass Simulant). P/N 13703960 includes the warhead section, propulsion section (rocket motor), control actuator system, and associated electronics. P/N 13703965 simulates the same weight, center of gravity, and outer mold line of a Longbow HELLFIRE guidance section. A special configuration may be required by replacing the HELLFIRE II Romeo tactical warhead with P/N 79797034a, Main Charge Warhead, Test. The Government does not own Technical Data Package (TDP) with Government Purpose Rights for the HELLFIRE II Romeo missile (or the missile bus). The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 336415 which has a corresponding Size Standard of 1,000 employees. It is contemplated that this award will be made on an other than Full and Open Competition approach in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for these requirements. The Government anticipates contract award by January 2016. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) AND IN NO WAY OBLIGATES THE GOVERNMENT TO AWARD ANY CONTRACT. This notice is to assist the United States Army in determining potential sources only; submission of any information in response to this market survey is strictly voluntary. Oral communications or responses are not acceptable in response to this notice. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this sources sought notice nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any associated costs incurred in developing the information. If your organization has the potential capacity to develop and deliver these parts, please provide the following information: 1.Organization name, address, POC, email address, web-site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization. Please provide your Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number and Commercial and Government Enitity (CAGE) Code.
