Description
SPE300-15-R-0004 The Meal Cold Weather and Long Range Patrol Packet (MCW/LRP) are unique items in they are commercial in nature, but military in application. The MCW/LRP is designed to meet the Joint Service requirements of the Marine Corps and the Army Special Operations Forces (SOF). NSN: 8970-01-467-1753 (MCW) NSN: 8970-01-467-1749 (LRP) This requirement is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract containing One Base Year with Two One-Year Option periods. Estimated Annual Quantities (in cases) Line Item Min Est Max 0001 MCW 19,000 22,500 45,000 0002 LRP 4,000 7,500 15,000 The above quantities per item as shown above are only for the Base-Year period. Option-Year Two/Three are the identical to the Base-Year quantities. The contract shall be awarded using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method of procurement. The Government reserves the right to conduct a reverse auction if applicable. In order to be considered technically acceptable, the offeror must submit Product Demonstration Models (PDMs) and Past Performance Information which will both be rated on an Acceptable/Unacceptable basis. The award shall be made to the lowest technically acceptable offeror. A Fixed Price Contract with an Economic Price Adjustment is anticipated. F.O.B. Origin, Contractor is responsible for Inspection, Government Accepts at Origin. Delivery shall begin 120 days after receipt of order. Anticipated Solicitation Issue Date: Oct. 15, 2014. Anticipated Solicitation Closing Date: Nov. 18, 2014. Anticipated Award Date: March 02, 2015. Full and Open Competition. Unrestricted Solicitation. The solicitation will be available on FedBizOpps during the open solicitation period. Berry Amendment applies. Single Award anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency.
