Description
In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (a)(2), Department of State, American Embassy, INL (Mexico City, Mexico) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract for the acquisition of one (1) Splunk Enterprise License and education/training for 2 students. Service includes: a. One (1) Splunk Enterprise License 6.1 Perpetual, 100 GB/DAY plus two years of warranty and maintenance. b. One (1) Splunk App for Enterprise Security Perpetual, 100 GB/DAY. c. Training “Administering Splunk V6” for 2 students in Mexico City. 1. The Vendor shall deliver the product thirty days (30) after the signing of the Purchase Order. 2. License shall be sent to Receiving Section in INL, US EMBASSY, MEXICO CITY. 3. The training shall take place no later than 10 days after delivery of the license to the end user. 4. The training cost shall include all travel related expenses. 5. The Vendor shall coordinate with INL’s COR and Logistics all deliveries of equipment. 6. The vendor shall have representation in Mexico. The warranty and the maintenance shall be valid and provided in Mexico. 7. The support warranty shall start once the License has been downloaded by the end user approximately 30 to 60 days after delivery to INL. Exact time frame will be determined after award. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. However, interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications for future procurements in writing to the identified point of contact not later than October 10, 2014. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not companies are qualified for future similar procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFQ will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to CruzPE@state.gov with solicitation number referenced in the subject line.
