Description

Under Statutory Authority § 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center completed a sole source procurement with PARTEC North America for the purchase of a CyFlow Space Flow Cytometer for the Wiliam S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital in Madison, WI. This announcement is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by supplies available from one source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition is solely within the discretion of the Government.
