Description

Redacted Sole Source J & A The DISA/DITCO/PL8324 contracting office intends to award a sole source contract to JDS Uniphase for the Service, Calibration and Maintenance plan for JDSU testing equipment for DISA. The procurement is authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The NAICS for this requirement is 811219 and the applicable SIC is 7629. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Any company that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer not later than 1500 Hours CDST, September 29, 2014. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the contractor's capabilities and the ability to comply with above requirement. A Justification/Rationale has been attached for this purchase. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
