Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for the Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) office. The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price modification to contract VA118-11-P-0086 to Dekatron Corporation, 5895 Allentown Road, Camp Spring, Maryland, 20746 for continuation of professional, executive, administrative and technical services under the existing contract providing support to the OI&T CRM office and their mission to effectively measure the customer satisfaction of OI&T regarding the products and services they provide. These services will ensure continuation of existing contractor resources' professional, executive, administrative and technical services to support CRM initiatives, mission and goals. This effort will provide support in the conduct and coordination of administering customer surveys. Much of this work involves the primary source of quantitative customer satisfaction data. This data will be derived from enterprise-wide surveys conducted by the CRM itself. These surveys will be complimented by focusing on numerically smaller, specific upper management communities thru the use of structured interviewing and focus group techniques. VA requires these continued support services for a period of 90 days to avoid a break in service to CRM to satisfy their existing Service Level Agreements to assess customer satisfaction for the wide variety of products and services provided by OI&T. The Statutory Authority for this effort falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-5 entitled, "Authorized or Required by Statute." The primary North American Industry Classification System code is 541611 size standard of $15M. This notification shall close on October 11, 2014.
