Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 6), intends to enter into a sole source procurement with GE Healthcare, 3000 N Grandview Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188. The procurement is a service maintenance plan on the GE 1.5 HDXT Echospeed Mobile MRI equipment located at the VA Medical Center in Beckley, WV. The period of performance is 11/1/2014 through 10/31/2015. The service maintenance plan is on a VA NAC IDIQ contract V797P-6019B with GE Healthcare. NAICS code 811219 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for service for which the Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. Vendors must be authorized by GE to service the above equipment. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement are to submit information to: Lori D. Miller, Contract Specialist, at lori.miller@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 am, EST on October 2, 2014. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
