Description
Final Draft Evaluation Criteria and Submission Instructions Final Draft Statement of Work Over the next five years, USAID will invest in supporting the GRZ’s vision of a “Nation of Healthy and Productive People” with the specific goal of reducing TB-related mortality by 50 percent in the intervention provinces by the end of 2019. The Contractor for this TB activity (the Activity) will work in partnership with the GRZ, NTP, private sector and others at the national, provincial and community levels to strengthen implementation of key components of the GRZ’s response to control TB in Zambia. At the national level, the Contractor will work with the NTP on outstanding policy-related activities such as strategies, guidelines, and protocols. At a minimum, the Contractor will implement its TB control activities in six provinces, building on USAID’s previous investments in TB. These provinces are: Northern, Luapula, Muchinga, Copperbelt, Central, and North-Western provinces. More specific geographic scope will be determined by USAID and the Contractor. The Activity’s target communities have a high burden of TB, including underserved communities, people in congregate settings such as prisons, children, and People Living with HIV (PLHIV). In addition to the Objectives listed below, infection control and intensified case finding will be priority interventions across activities. Anticipated Solicitation Release Date: October 10 - 13, 2014 The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet. This Request for Proposal (RFP) and any future amendments thereto can be downloaded from http://www.fbo.gov. When the RFP is issued, offerors will have 38 calendars days to submit a proposal. It is the responsibility of the offerors to ensure that documents in their entirety have been received. USAID bears no responsibility for data error resulting from transmission or conversion processes. This is a full and open competition under which all nongovernmental organizations are eligible to compete. The procedures set forth in FAR Part 15 will apply.
