- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst intends to enter into sole source negotiations for the repair and alignment of the H-1 Harmonization Bench Camera, part number F1467096. The anticipated award will be made to Thales Avionics SAS, located in France. Thales Avionics SAS is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Harmonization Bench Camera who holds the proprietary rights to the data necessary to provide the proper repairs and alignment. NAVAIR intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1, through the aforementioned modification to the existing contract. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
