Description

The Contractor shall furnish all personnel requested by the Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care Radiation Oncology Service to provide services necessary to perform onsite Radiation Oncology Physician, Therapeutic Medical Physics, and Dosimetry Support Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System, Baltimore, Maryland (hereinafter referred to as VAMHCS). On-site contracted Radiation Oncology Physician, Chief Medical Physicist, and Medical Dosimetrist are required to be fully credentialed and in possession of proper security documents prior to commencing contract activities. Contracted personnel must be identified and available to initiate the VAMC credentialing process at the time the contract is awarded and able to provide on-site services within one week after the approval of their VAMC clinical privileges. Contractor must have an established Radiation Oncology Program within the state of Maryland in order to facilitate unforeseen staffing shortages that may delay treatment to the Veterans.
