Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Submit only written quotations for RFQ F2Q3304176A001. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. This acquisition is set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 561621 with a $19 million size standard. The requirement is for Mobotix products brand name only. Award will be made to lowest price and technically acceptable. This RFQ contains 16 line items. The line item description is as follows: 0001: CAMERA PLAYGROUND/FRONT ENTRANCE MX-Q25M-SEC-D12 HEMISPERIC L12 DAY (2 EA). 0002: MX+OPTAP-10DEG: 10?? Note: Three (3) year Manufacture warranty requirement on all MOBOTIX cameras. The currently installed MOBOTIX Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) system at the General Russ Child Development Center (CDC) is designed as a child maltreatment prevention measure (required by AF 34-248, Child Development Centers)) and as a resource to view accidents/incidents that may occur at the CDC. The number of cameras now installed does not provide adequate surveillance of all areas surrounding the facility and playgrounds. Additional cameras and associated equipment are needed to eliminate blind spots. The project consists of furnishing all design, labor, supplies, equipment, supervision and materials in the installation of equipment to tie into existing flat screen monitors. Wire and cable and all associated connectors and shall be installed in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. All equipment shall have the manufacturers name and logotype label. The contractor shall provide all devices and components required to accomplish the installation of a fully functional system that ties into the current system. Cameras will be installed on the playground (toddler/preschool) and at the facility front entry/parking area (customer drop-off point). Cameras should be properly positioned in each area to eliminate most blind spots when that area is viewed on a monitor. The installation and acceptance will be considered complete after the following: (a) The cameras/equipment must be MOBOTIX. (b) Operating and Instruction Manuals will be provided prior to testing the system. (c) A complete set of as-built drawings showing installed wiring, color coding and wire tag notations for exact locations of all installed equipment, specific interconnections between all equipment and wiring of the equipment will be delivered to the owner. The work shall be performed at Russ Child Development Center, 117 Burrell Loop Road, Langley AFB, VA 23665: All cameras and equipment must be MOBOTIX. Outdoor cameras must be digital and be designed to withstand local weather conditions. Cameras should be motion sensitive and be able to function (with a viewable picture) in various lighting conditions. Timeline/Schedule All equipment will be installed and operational not later than 10 October 2014 with training to be completed NLT 1 week after installation. Installation schedules will be coordinated and approved through the contracting representative. Weekend and evening work schedules should be avoided, but may be scheduled to meet this timeline.
