Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6), 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, VA 23667 is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business; (2) Veteran Owned Small Business; or (3) Small business firms to set aside a single award contract. The Government will use responses to this notice to make to an appropriate acquisition decision. The requirement is for preventative maintenance services for four (4) ETO Sterilizers, Model # 5XL manufactured by 3M and two (2) 50A Abators. This is to include labor, parts, supplies and equipment necessary to provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and periodic maintenance inspections. The contractor shall include but not limited to cleaning of the equipment, review operating system software diagnostics in accordance with the manufacturer ‚¬ s specifications, calibrating and lubricating equipment, performing remedial, non-emergent maintenance, testing and replacing faulty and worn parts and or parts likely to fail and become worn, inspection and replacement of worn or frayed electrical wiring and cables, returning the equipment back to the operating condition mode and provide documentation of services performed. This contract is to be performed at the Asheville VA Medical Center, 1100 Tunnel Road, Ashville, NC 28805-2087. The anticipated period of performance will be one basic year plus four (4) one-year pre-priced options for renewal. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with information describing their interest, capabilities, geographic location and indicate which small business category for which they qualify by email to tracy.hudson3@va.gov, no later than 1:00 p.m. CDT, September 26, 2012. Solicitation Number VA246-14-Q-1269 ETO Sterilizers should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The NAICS Code 811219 is applicable to this acquisition; with a Business Size Standard of $20.5 M. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management www.sam.goV prior to award of a contract.
