Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N6883614T0359 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the latest edition of the Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is issued on a total small business set a-side basis, NAICS Code 562211 applies. CLIN 0001 DISPOSAL DRUG TESTING URINE 218,848 LBS 1.Navy Drug Screening Laboratory, Jacksonville, FL has a requirement for a Biomedical Hazard Waste Disposal Service Contract to dispose of drug testing urine bottles. 2.Item description The Biomedical Hazard Waste Disposal Service Contract not to exceed 218,848 lbs. to begin October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015, shall consist of the following requirements: a.Containers shall have a 96 gallon capacity. Containers shall not be larger than 35 tall and 24 wide. Container shall have a flip top with handle and two wheels located on the back for easy mobility. This type of container is called a Schaefer Container. Price shall include price of biomedical disposal bags. b. Pick up approximately 8 containers per pickup and delivery of approximately 8 empty containers, two times per week. There shall be at least 8-12 containers on hand at all times.
