Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Sierra Nevada Health Care System plans to issue a FSS order under the Multiple Award Schedule Program to GE Medical Systems Information under order V797P-2239D for a Telemetry system using the authority at FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C), "In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original Federal Supply Schedule order," to limit sources in this action. The scope of the order will be limited to the following statement of work. Please note, while the majority of items appear to be on GE's FSS, some items may be considered open market. Please see the attached, redacted limited sources justification for more information. Statement of Work Expansion of Existing GE Healthcare Medical Telemetry System at VA Palo Alto Health Care System This is a procurement of equipment and services to provide equipment, materials, software licenses, engineering design, configuration, installation and implementation of an expansion to existing GE Apex Pro medical telemetry systems at VA Palo Alto Health Care System. This will require the following equipment/capabilities: 1.Expansion of Existing Ward 2A Telemetry System: a.Two additional GE Apex Pro quad telemetry receiving modules and 8 Apex Pro transmitters operating in the 608- 614 MHz frequency range to expand the number of monitored beds on Ward 2A from 8 to 16, including full arrhythmia monitoring. b.Additional antennas to include beds currently out of coverage range c.All necessary software licenses for operating the additional beds on existing central station monitors, including 72-hour Full Disclosure licenses. 2.Expansion of Existing Ward 3C Telemetry System: a.One additional GE Apex Pro quad telemetry receiving module and 4 Apex Pro transmitters operating in the 608- 614 MHz frequency range to expand the number of monitored beds on Ward3C from 12 to 16, including full arrhythmia monitoring. b.Additional antennas to include beds currently out of coverage range c.All necessary software licenses for operating the additional beds on existing central station monitors, including 72-hour Full Disclosure licenses. 3.Complete infrastructure and equipment (server, receiver w/ modules, transmitters, antennas, central station, software licenses) to add 16 monitored telemetry beds to Ward 2C, including capability to monitor Oxygen saturation in addition to ECG. a.Apex Pro MP100R version 4.2 Telemetry Server with applicable software; b.CIC Pro version 5.1 Central Station Monitor hardware and software for 16 bed licenses, to include 72-hour Full Disclosure, R-T Trends, Patient Management (ADT Picklist), 50mm strip recorder, 600 VA uninterruptible power supply and laser printer. c.Apex Pro Telemetry Receiver system with 4 Quad receiver modules and 16 Apex Pro transmitters operating in the 608-614 MHz frequency range, with full arrhythmia option and Pulse Oximetry capabilities. d.All necessary mounting hardware e.Antennas to provide full telemetry coverage of Ward 2C 4.Equipment and software required to establish a new, centralized monitoring room with capability to monitor all 48 telemetry beds from Wards 2A, 2C and 3C: The central stations must have the capability to admit and discharge patients from the system and set alarm limits for physiological parameters: a.3 new GE CIC Pro version 5.1 Central Station Monitors, including hardware and software licenses to mirror 48 beds (16 each), 72-hour Full Disclosure, R-T Trends, Patient Management (ADT Picklist), 50mm strip recorder and a 600 VA uninterruptible power supply for each central and 1 laser printer for the room. b.All necessary mounting hardware for wall mounting the stations, displays and printers. 5.The contract will include configuration and installation of all components, including installation of cabling for telemetry antenna system and connection and configuration of all networked components. It will also include 6 days of on-site training from clinical application specialists.
