- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following action is to be competed by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) in support of the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL), Fort Rucker, AL, a Horizontal Electro Foam Trim. This announcement constitutes the solicitation by USAMRAA, Fort Detrick, MD as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and offers must be submitted in writing (oral offers will not be accepted). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-27. DESCRIPTION: This requirement is for a Electric Foam Trim Plus Horizontal 310 brand name or equal to item number HEFT310 manufactured by Neolt, Italy. A complete list of the salient characteristics are included in the SF1449 solicitation attached to this posting which can be located by following the Additional Documentation link below. These items are needed at USAARL in Fort Rucker, AL 36362-0577. Delivery is FOB Destination no later than 30 days after date of contract. This is a notice that this order is a total small business set aside for small business concerns. Only quotes submitted by small business concerns will be accepted by the Government. Any quote that is submitted by a vendor that is not a small business concern will not be considered for award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333515 (size standard 500 employees). No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office. All interested parties can view, download and print a copy of the solicitation and any resulting amendments from the following website: https://www.fbo.gov/.
