- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command -Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Data Physics Corporation located at 1741 Technology Drive Suite 260 San Jose, CA 9510. This requirement is for upgrades of existing Data Physics equipment currently in use at USAYPG and is required to support tests planned for the M982 projectile, M1103 projectile, PERM mortar, and LAV-SANG mortar. The controllers are non-network commercial data acquisition and processing computer systems with proprietary hardware and software. Description of this requirement: Upgrade A, serial number 70282: Upgrade system to provide Sine Resonance Search and Dwell (DP Part number DP-760-27-AO) capability and expand the system hardware data channels from 8 to 16 (DP Part number DP-700-60-8CAO). All existing software shall be operational with 16 data channels. Upgrade B, serial number 70131: Upgrade system to provide Sine Data Reduction (DP Part number DP-730-19AO) capability for 32 data channels. Upgrade C, serial number 70279: Upgrade the system hardware data channels from 24 to 32(DP Part number DP-700-60-8CAO). All existing software shall be operational with 32 data channels. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. The size standard for NAICS Code 334519 is 500 employees. The applicable Product Service Code (PSC) is 6635. Award for this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOPALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these requirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firm's technical capability to meet these requirements by 23 September 2014 at 8:00 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST). In order to prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed.
