Description

The U.S. Secret Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Ramsey Electronics, Inc.. at 590 Fishers Station Drive, #3, Victor, NY 14564-9744 to provide a custom made Ramsey STE3000FMOD RF shielded enclosure. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 - Circumstances permitting other than full and open competition. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. The determination of the Government not to open this requirement to full and open competition was made in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and is solely at the discretion of the Government. Entities may identify their interest and ability to meet this requirement via a written capability statement only. All capability statements must be emailed no later than 8:00am EST, September 22, 2014. Any information received will be maintained for future Market Research requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government anticipates an award date on or about September 24, 2014. The Government will not be responsible for any costs of preparation in response to this announcement.
