- Description
- Please refer to the attached solicitation W81XWH-14-T-0526 for complete details. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is conducting the following procurement in support of the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) located at Fort Detrick, MD. USAMRIID has a current requirement for a Target Enrichment Platform that is Brand Name or Equal to the Wafergen SmartChip TE System (420-000019). Ship to Address (FOB) USAMRIID 1425 Porter Street Fort Detrick, MD 21702 Quotes are due by 22 September 2014, 04:00 pm EST. The Government Point of Contact is Roman Laterza, roman.e.laterza.civ@mail.mil. Phone 301-619-9208. Brand Name or Equal to the Following: Qty 2 - Wafergen SmartChip TE System (420-000019) Minimum Essential Characteristics (MECs) USAMRIID requires a platform for conducting multiple targeted amplification reactions on a chip/array using pre-designed amplification primers. The system must be compatible for downstream use with real-time PCR or next-generation sequencing on the MiSeq. Target enrichment platform must be simple to use with minimal technical expertise (ex., capable for use in the field) Must be capable of amplifying hundreds of amplicons using pre-designed primer pairs (we have hundreds of well-characterized assays) Reactions must singleplex in order to minimize loss of amplification sensitivity and generation of primer dimer Platform must be low throughput (ex. single sample), but the overall technology must be scalable to a high-throughput system
